GRE (Glass-fiber Reinforced Epoxy) pipe is a new type of composite material with the epoxy resin matrix. It has been widely used in marine & offshore, petroleum and chemical industry due to advantages such as excellent corrosion resistance, light weight, long life, little fluid friction resistance, easy installation and maintenance, good fire resistance and electrical conductivity.
Our GRE pipes are made by winding process. The product design complies with IMO Resolution A753 (18) Guidelines and Type Approval requirements of the major leading Classification Societies.
The internal pressure rate of our pipes is 16 Bar and the external pressure rate is 3.8 Bar. All piping systems can meet IMO-L3 level fire resistance requirement.
Both conductive and non-conductive pipes are available.
Our GRE pipes can be used in ballast system, bilge system, stripping system and fire water system, as well as brine piping, waste water, drinking water, cooling water, fresh water, drains, sounding pipes, cargo handling pipes, sprinkler, ventilation pipe, etc.

4.Excellent Media Transmission Ability
GRP pipes have smooth internal surface with low absolute roughness (0.01mm) which is much lower than new steel pipes（0.1-0.2mm） and old steel pipes（0.5-0.8mm）. Therefore, it’s common that many designers often use GRP pipes of smaller internal diameter to replace steel pipes to reduce cost.
5.Low Coefficient of Thermal Conductivity & Thermal Stress
The coefficient of thermal conductivity of GRE pipes is just 0.4% of the steel pipe. So, using GRE pipes can greatly reduce the heat loss in the operating process. GRE pipes have low thermal stress which is about 1/11 of the steel pipe. This gives GRE pipes the wonderful resistance ability to heat and cold. As a result, GRE pipes can be used in many harsh environments and can reduce the heat loss greatly in the operating process.
6.Excellent Electromagnetic Insulation
The use of Steel pipes is affected by conductive, static or complex geographical conditions due to its poor electromagnetic insulation while GRP pipes is not affected due to its excellent electromagnetic insulation ability.
Comparing with steel pars, GRP parts are easy to install without large machineries due to its light weight. GRP installation t requires less dangerous operations than steel parts such as welding and therefore reduces the safety risks. In addition, GRP parts can be prefabricated in our factory and then sent to the shipyard to reduce the installation time in the shipyard.

As a result, the customer can not only own the excellent equipments, but also greatly reduce the operation/maintenance cost replacing steel parts by GRP products.
